The Cave of Ispinigoli very characteristic with a long column 38 meters high, which has few rivals in Europe and the world, combining time with the base of the cave. Even from the entrance you can admire the depth of the abyss. Since ancient times it was used by man as a refuge. Until a few decades ago also gave shelter to the herdsmen, continuing on the road you will reach the karst spring of Su Gologone known with a depth of over 100 meters, but still partly unexplored, continuing to reach the Supramonte enclosing unexplored caves, forests of oaks trees that were never subjected to cutting, a limited human presence, pastors who have not yet abandoned cuiles, huts reminiscent in form and substance the ancient Nuraghe and the top of Mount Corrasi which reaches 1463 meters above sea level, more times sung by Sebastiano Satta, the poet of Sardinia.

This is also an area rich in archaeological ruins such as the village of huts Sedda Nuraghe Sa 'e sos Carros, place the mouth of the valley Lanaittu interesting to understand the system of water collection in the Bronze Age (1500 BC) .
To instill a visit to the valley of Mount Tiscali (518 meters), inside of which is enclosed in a village nuragico composed of huts with wooden lintels and cover of juniper: its inhabitants were sourcing water that flowed from collecting walls of the cave which circumscribes the area.
Nearby Tiscali are also found on the throat of Gorropu, who with walls over 400 meters is one of the canyon highest in Europe.

Surely the country is more representative of Barbagia Orgosolo, famous for the abundance of murals, many of them politically motivated. The town, nestled in the heart of Supramonte, is characterized by spectacular natural scenery, costumes of great charm and typical murals that adorn and enrich the walls of houses illustrating the old and new problems of a people tied to farming and agriculture .

Orgosolo is also known for the events linked to banditry, the feuds and the anonymous seizure: originating in the country is Barbaricino Graziano Mesina, the best known of the bands from the '60s and '70s.
